class.

This is for those who own the Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR)

Embroidery**
Learn how to embroider a design that’s made for the
Bernina Mega Hoop. This will be a technique class on
the use of the mega hoop. You must have the mega hoop to
participate in this class.

Hoop-It-All Table Topper**
Using the Quilters Square Double-Wide Hoop we will do
the embroidery for the center of this table topper.

This class is for those who have an embroidery
machine/sewing machine. We will embroider a design from
the Chantilly Lace collection by Michelle Griffith and

This class is for those who have an embroidery
machine/sewing machine. We will embroider a design using
the Bernina Artista Mega Hoop and make a bolster pillow

Learn how to use the Bernina Borders Kit and make a
table runner with your choice of embroidery border. You

Software Classes
Introduction
to Artista Software I (formerly Editor I)
Learn how to download a design, open a design, file
maintenance, portfolio, basic lettering and using the
onscreen manual. All Editor Plus and Designer Plus
owners must take this class first. Homework will be
required to proceed to Software II.
Fee: You may take this class for free twice -- $15
thereafter
Introduction
to Artista Software II (formerly Editor II)
The following areas will be covered in this class:
Monogramming, alignment tools, removing overlaps,
mirror/merge capabilities, and specialty lettering
options. All Editor Plus and Designer Plus owners must
take this class to proceed to Auto-Digitizing. There
will be homework required before proceeding to
Auto-Digitizing.
Fee: You may take this class for free twice - $15
thereafter
Auto-Digitizing
You will complete the Auto-Digitizing tutorial as
outlined in the V5 manual. This will teach you how to
take an artwork and apply stitches and stitch angles.
You must have completed Software I and II to enroll in
the class. You will have homework to complete before
advancement to Designer Plus.

Designer Plus
V5/Manual Digitizing
This class is designed to teach you how to manually
digitize and work with auto-appliqué. You must have
completed Auto-Digitizing before enrolling in this
class. Designer Plus owners will enroll in this class.

Cross-Stitch
in the Software
Learn how to make a picture into a cross-stitch
design using Editor Plus or Designer Plus. Completion of Software I class is required
prior to taking this class.

Quilting in the Software
Using Editor Plus or Designer Plus Embroidery
Software, learn how to create a quilt before you ever
cut your first block. Pre-requisite for this class is Software I
class.

Advanced Stitch Options
This software class is for those who have successfully
completed the Manual Digitizing class and own Designer
Plus V5 software. In this class you will explore the
many other features this software has to offer, such as
gradient fills, color blending, pattern run stitches,
pattern stamps and much more.

Advanced Editing
This software class is for those who have successfully
completed the Manual Digitizing class and own Designer
Plus V5 software. In this class you will learn how to
work with a design that is not a grade “A” design.
Discover what you need to do to perfect and imperfect
design.

My Label
Learn how to work in the My Label Software. We will
explore the options you have in altering the garments in
the software. You must own the My Label software and
have a laptop to bring to this class.

Computer Lab
Don’t miss the chance to get one-on-one help with
your software issues. Bring your laptop, or reserve a
classroom computer. Terry and Jennifer will be there to
assist you with your software homework or any problems

Create borders in Editor Plus or Designer Plus for use
in the borders software.

Embroidery Club
Come join us the 2nd
Saturday of each month at 9:30 as we offer our hands-on
Embroidery Club to all Bernina embroidery machine
owners. This is a FREE club but does require
pre-registration. The only cost involved in the club is
the kit (usually $5-$10) for this project-based
meeting. Plan now to take advantage of this opportunity
to learn more about new products, new procedures, and
simply more exposure to your embroidery machine. The
designs used for the club projects are non-licensed
designs and are available for your personal use.
Bernina Club
Are you curious
about new products, procedures, or just wanting to get
with other sewing enthusiasts? Well, wait no longer!
We would love to have anyone that has an interest in
sewing come join our monthly meeting for fun,
entertainment, and education. We usually meet the 3rd
Thursday of each month at 6 pm. This is a lecture/demo
format so there is nothing for you to bring, except a
friend.
